Welcome to the House of Covenant International Church (HCIC). HCIC is founded on the foundation
of the covenant that God has made on the cross of Jesus Christ. As members of HCIC we chose to devote ourselves to present our life to Christ and to each other and demonstrate his spirit through love, worship, witnessing and ministry to the needy. HCIC was established in year 2012 by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Since the establishment of this church God has blessed our ministry in many ways.
We are a Christ-centered church committed to reaching members of the Ethiopian and Eritrean
community, as well as members of the international community in the Winnipeg area. Our mission
is helping individuals to grow into the likeness of Christ, and preach the gospel of grace to everyone.
We believe in our God given abilities to change lives for the better through faith in a God. We are an all-inclusive organization; this is to say, we dont turn away anyone who may need our help or those who just want to take part in all we offer. Rich and poor, old and young, sinner and saint, people of all races, creeds, and colors, even people of other faiths, you are all welcome here. Come see what we have to offer you.
We offer worship services weekly and a wide variety of ministries that help create a community of
followers marked by unwavering faith and unconditional love. Our uplifting services feature
messages that are valuable to life.
Check out our morning worship every Sunday for a rich blend of traditional and contemporary
music and our Saturday afternoon prayer service as well as our home Bible study groups in week
days. Come and join us to learn more about us.

FAITH STATEMENT

We are a Christ-centered church committed to reaching members of the Ethiopian and Eritrean community, as well as members of the international community in the Winnipeg area.

OUR COMMUNITY

We believe in one God, the creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe in the Word (bible), we find the revelation of God's eternal and unchanging will for everyone. The Word (bible) is the divine and final authority for the Christian life.

We believe in Jesus Christ is the union of God and man. He is true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe that Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for everyone.

We believe that it is the will of God that every Believer be filled with the Holy Spirit.

We believe that healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every Believer.

We believe that the Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust.

We believe in water baptism, and observance of the Lord's Supper.

Aligning Our Will with God’s

Jesus declared “I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38). Further, He said of His relationship to the Father, “I do always those things that please him” (John 8:29).

Our leadership board is comprised with the Pastor and elected Elders who are responsible for governing and providing oversight for Church’s affairs. We also have an executive team of men and women who give oversight and direction to each department and ministry.

The government of this church, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is vested in the leadership Board, whose accountability is to the body of believers. Only members of our organization who are of high character and integrity, who maintain an excellent reputation, and who demonstrate leadership in our ministry may be elected as Elders.

Each person in his or her particular role is committed to the Vision, Mission, and Values of our organization.

In short, when you find your spiritual home with us, you're finding a community for you to trust, learn from, and participate in!
